About

I have always been attracted to the bright vibrant colors of watercolor pigments, especially when white unpainted areas of the watercolor paper are visible. However, I have painted little over the years concentrating on raising my son and my career as a printed circuit board designer. After sitting all day and staring at a computer, I wanted to be outside hiking, cycling, and skiing. There always seemed to be no time left for art. I was able to retire in 2018 and have since been able to pursue my true passion painting watercolors and ceramics. In addition to traditional watercolor techniques, I also do watercolor batik on rice paper.

My home studio is in Boise, Idaho where I live with my two Bernedoodles.
