White Peony Watercolor Batik Painting

White Peony is made from an original watercolor painting. This technique is watercolor batik on rice paper. Wax is used as a resist just like fabric batik, but the substrate is Ginwashi rice paper. After the painting is complete, an iron is used to melt all the wax off.

FRAME AND MAT ARE NOT INCLUDED

We print on archival quality cotton acid free fine art paper. When combined with our 12-color pigment ink printing system, we achieve perfect color reproduction and produce beautiful prints that will look as good as new for 80 years.

Please note that this print is not matted or framed. It is available in:

11" x 14"
16" x 20"

8 x 10 and 11 x 14 will be shipped in flat cardboard photo mailers and the 16 x 20 will be rolled up in a cardboard tube.
